ELECTION ANNOUNCEMENT

GWTCS will be conducting elections for the Executive committee for the years of

2010 and 2011. Nominations are invited for the following:

Secretary (Cultural)

Board of Director - 2

Important Dates:

Nominations Accepted from: July 9, 2009

Last Date to submit Nominations: July 21,2009

Declare eligible nominations by Election Commission: July 24, 2009

Last Date to withdraw: July 27, 2009

Elections date: August,08 2009

Venue of Elections: Loehmann Twin Cinemas, Arlington, VA

Nomination procedures:

Eligibility: All members of good standing as of last Ugadi function ( April 28, 2009 are eligible to nominate and be nominated. A list of eligible members is available with the Election Committee and on the GWTCS Home page.

All nominations are accepted by email. Each candidate should be proposed and seconded by eligible members of GWTCS and agreed by the candidate. The nomination form provided by GWTCS on the Web site should be filled and send to the Election committee chairperson with copies to the other two associate members of the committee. Emailing instructions are given in the nomination form.
